- COMMUNICATIONS AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT PLANS
Our goal is simple. We want to ensure that infrastructure decision making and project delivery incorporates robust community engagement that builds trust, credibility and meaningful partnerships throughout the project timeline.
Community consultation and communication is no-longer a box-ticking exercise for infrastructure delivery. Neighbourhoods, local businesses, individuals, families and schools are just some of the groups that make-up the rich and diverse fabric of the communities our clients work within. A project that fails to deliver appropriate community engagement can carry even greater costs to the project. Infrastructure Australia estimates that over the past decade around $20 billion worth of infrastructure projects have been delayed or cancelled due to community opposition and a failure to properly engage with affected communities in the consultation anddecision making and delivery process.
We know that every project is different and every community is unique. Acorn communications services can help your project collaborate with communities and stakeholders to identify current sentiments, obstacles, shared objectives and develop clear communication strategies that respond to and reflect community views and values throughout the project delivery process.
